Clarification on LC29H(EA) update rates (GNSS vs RTK) for agricultural navigation

Hi everyone,

I would like to clarify whether the LC29H (EA) module can operate at a 10 Hz update rate in standard GNSS mode (without RTK). I am asking because the specifications and datasheets from different dates and sources seem to contradict each other.

I am also confused by some information suggesting that the module can run RTK at 10 Hz but standard GNSS at only 1 Hz. Do I understand correctly that it can receive RTK corrections at 10 Hz, but only updates satellite data at 1 Hz? That seems very strange to me. Could someone explain how this actually works under the hood?

My main goal is to use this module for a custom agricultural navigation system. If the LC29H (EA) is not capable of a true 10 Hz update rate in standalone GNSS mode, would you recommend looking at other Quectel modules (or specific LC29H variants) that are better suited for this specific task?

Yea,it can output nmea gga & rmc at 10Hz but all
others at ONLY 1Hz.

Great, you’ve been a huge help, because I’d ordered a DA earlier and now I don’t know what to do with it at 1 hertz, so I was looking for alternatives – thank you!
