Choose antenna for quetel ec200t

I have some antenna confusion, how should I choose or bult it?

  1. how should I choose an antenna for my quectel module? for example in the area where I live, we have LTE band 3 as I read (Georgia). so I guess I should buy an antenna that works on 1800 MHZ (LTE band 3).

  2. I have an antenna and when I connect it to the module it automatically connects to the LTE band 20. so as I mentioned we have an LTE band 3 cover and will that gonna affect connection quality? (being connected on band 3)

  3. on other antennas again other band chooses quectel. I want to know how the band choosing works and on which parameter should i look while buying antenna.

The principle of frequency band selection is based on the handover reselection strategy configured by the operator. Simply put, when multiple frequency bands exist at the same time, whoever occupies them will forcefully occupy them.
Antenna selection mainly depends on the frequency band supported by the antenna, interface type, antenna size, etc.
