Is it possible to change region on this EG06-A firmware?

No, the region cannot be changed by firmware. EG06-A and EG06-E are separate product variants with their own band configuration and their own firmware packages, and the firmware is bound to the variant. Writing the EG06-E package into an EG06-A module fails the product check on the download path, and if it goes through partially the module can end up in a state that needs recovery.
To move to EG06-E, please use an EG06-E module. For firmware for a specific variant, contact your distributor or our support team with the module variant, the OC or marking, and the IMEI, so the package that matches your module can be provided.
