There is a mobile operator in the USA (may be, even other ones in near future), officially allowing only certified devices having certified LTE modules on their network. When using an EC25-AF (which is certified) in an uncertified device, i.e. a no-name router, are there any means the mobile cell operator can from remote detect the uncertified device ?

No. They see only what is directly attached to their network, e.g. your mobile device (like a modem).
