Can Goodix GT911 I2C touch panel work with sc20

I am using quectel sc20 for my project. Can we use Goodix GT911 with i2c interface for touch panel . As i am working with linux . Is it good to use I2C for linux or I should use USB interface for the touch panel?

Thank you for your response . My company’s name is Teksun Microsys Inc. in India. But we have our Hardware Design ready . I just wanted to clarify whether i can use I2C or not.
