Can EG25 enter low power mode after PPP setup in a data call?

Hi,
I am using EG25-G connected to Android system via USB. After the data connection is setup with EG25-G, can the modem enter low power mode while maintaining the link ? Since there are some moments that there is no traffic but just keeping the data link, will EG25-G entered low power mode during this case?

If you are using USB and are unable to interrupt it, you will not be able to enable low power consumption (normal sleep mode).
