BG96 PSM - Interruption to send data, sleep again

Hi alltogether,

I am working on a project where I have to send MQTT Data every 10 Minutes via LTE (NB1).
I successfully activated PSM with AT+CPSMS=1,“00000001”,“00000101” (10min T3412), the network then assigned 120min T3412 to me - fair enough.

The module goes to PSM POWER DOWN as it should and it wakes up 120 Minutes later. But here are my questions:

  1. I have to wake up the module every 10 min to send data. I can do this via the PWR Pin. Is this the right way? After I did send data, the module does not enter PSM again. How do I do that?

  2. Does the wakeup every 10min affect the T3412 timer in any way?

  3. When the module wakes up after the T3412 timer is expired (120min), it does not go into PSM again. What do I have to do to achieve this? AT+CPSMS still returns “active”. Executing the CPSMS command again does not have any effect.

Thank you and have a nice day!

hi Subi88 ,

you know , PSM is a network service , module just request , the final value of T3412 is approved

by network operator , operators is judge .

so . if you have to use PSM , pls argue with network operator . thanks
