BG96 GNSS Antenna gain

Dear Team,
We are using BG96 (Cellular/GNSS Combo) in our custom board, so we are looking for GNSS external antenna. We have selected some of the GNSS antenna which is having LNA gain 28dB. But antenna requirement in the BG96 says LNA gain <17dB.
Is that ok to use antenna which is having 28dB LNA Gain? If not please suggest the antenna part which is meet the antenna requirement.
Is there any impact on GNSS communication due to this high gain?

Hi,
It’s OK to select LNA gain 28dB GNSS antenna and there is no impact on GNSS communication, but
pls to note there will be a gain loss and depend on antenna cabel lenght. so suggest LNA gain no more than 17dB.
