BG96 FW update delta zip file and DFOTA issue

Hello,
I’m working with a LPWA BG96 Cat M1/NB1/EGPRS module and need to upgrade the firmware BG96MAR02A07M1G_01.007.01.007 to a newer version BG96MAR02A07M1G_01.202.01.202 with the DFOTA procedure.

Please can you send me the delta firware file .zip file for the above versions ?

The second request is about the DFOTA process. I tried to update the modem with the BG96MAR02A07M1G_01.007.01.007-BG96MAR02A08M1G_01.008.01.008.zip (not my preferred 01.202.01.202) just to test the mechanism and using an http server (NOT https). The procedure starts with the +QIND: “FOTA”,“HTTPSTART”, but nothing happens anymore…the module never completes the procedure. If I try to send the at+qfotadl command again, the module replies with +CME ERROR: 591 meaning the DFOTA is ongoing…but I can stay for hours and nothing happens, no error messages, nothing. What deas this means?
Is it possible to have the complete command sequence from power-on to the final at+qfotadl just to be sure I have configurated all necessary parameters?

the first request about delta we need to check, because the version between BG96MAR02A07M1G_01.007.01.007 and BG96MAR02A07M1G_01.202.01.202 has a huge gap. why not using local upgrade with QFLASH tool?

The second request: have you tried to check network? Can you donwload the delta from http server by using Chrome or firefox exploer?

  1. I can not use QFLASH tool since the BG96 is mounted on a custom board that does not expose USB port. Sine DFOTA is a feature of this device we wanted to use it..
    Maybe we can get an intermediate file ? _01.007.01.007 → _01.xxx.01.xxx and a second _01.xxx.01.xxx to _01.202.01.202
  2. Using Chrome, Firefox, .. the file is downloadable. On BG96 the process seems freezing after “+QIND: “FOTA”,“HTTPSTART” . Reporting an error should be usefull, but nothing happend.
