I read that you do not recommend updating BG96MAR02 to BG96MAR03. I took a chance and it seems that the module works fine. What are the disadvantages of doing so?
This behavior is not recommended and may cause your module to become bricked.
So your module’s original version is R02 right?
Probably due to purchases from different stores, my test bench receives modules with firmware BG96MAR03A07, BG96MAR03A08, and lately, most often BG96MAR02.
I wanted to standardize and update all of them to version BG96MAR03A11M1G_01.200.01.200 (or newer, if available). But based on what you’re saying, I should update R03 to the latest R03 and R02 to the latest R02.
Could I get the latest versions of R02 and R03 from you?
