BG96 firmware update from BG96MAR02A07M1G to BG96MAR03A04M1G

Hi

We have a BG96(on PCB) module, and firmware is BG96MAR02A07M1G, we like to upgrade firmware to BG96MAR03A04M1G in order to let device work in Japan with three major operator(Softbank, DOCOMO,KDDI).
Questions:

  1. How to upgrade the BG96 firmware?
  2. Can the BG96 communication module already on the PCB still be updated with firmware?
  3. Our device was not originally designed with USB interface pins for the BG96. Are there other ways to perform firmware updates?
  4. Is it possible to directly update firmware version BG96MAR02A07M1G to BG96MAR03A04M1G? Are there any issues with firmware version cross-line upgrades?

Due to BG96MAR02A07M1G and BG96MAR03A04M1G are not same baseline, It’s not allow to upgrade.

How about the upgrade from BG96MAR03A08M1G_01.001.01.001
to BG96MAR02A10M1G_01.102.01.102?

I have recently received several BG96 with the firmware version BG96MAR03A08M1G_01.001.01.001. However, I don’t have the release notes for this particular revision.

I would like to inquire whether the firmware version BG96MAR02A10M1G_01.102.01.102 is newer, and if it is possible to upgrade the modules to this revision.

BG96MAR03A08M1G_01.001.01.001 also cant upgrade to BG96MAR02A10M1G_01.102.01.102?
you can upgrade to below fw version but please note this FW cant downgrade.
BG96MAR02A10M1G_01.200.01.200.zip
