BG96 AT+QIDNSGIP=1,"www.gsma.com", DNS parse failed

Hi there,

I have trouble in this command AT+QIDNSGIP=1,“www.gsma.com”, it returns error “+QIURC: “dnsgip”,565” means DNS parse failed. I have followed the BC66’s GSMA guide part 1. In that first part, I didn’t see him use AT+QIOPEN but he still can query the IP add address of GSMA website.

Below is my result. I’m pretty sure that i have check and find the AT commands have similarity with those AT command used in that video.

Enlight me please.

Hi
Sorry for the late reply,You can use this AT command to confirm which DNS address you got and you can also set the DNS server address using this AT command: AT+QIDNSCFG=[,[,]].
You can change the DNS server addresses and then try to parse IP Address by Domain Name.
If that still doesn’t work, you can replace it with a SIM card from another carrier.
