BG95-S5 Location from external GNSS source?

Is it possible to set the location for the BG95-S5 without relying on the internal GNSS for NTN connections? The EVB kit I’m using is working well to connect to Skylo but I need to use the internal GNSS and my device will be using a separate GNSS.

The cellular communication and GNSS of BG95S5 share RF. If your GNSS service has a higher priority, you can enable GNSS first

Sorry, I think I worded my question wrong. I don’t want to rely on the internal GNSS whatsoever. The BG95-S5 antenna feed will not be populated and left open. I have a separate GNSS module that gives a more precise location and I would like to use the location data from that module for the BG95-S5 to resolve NTN satellite fix? I found this message in the forum (BG95-S5&BG770A-GL Documentation missing) but the provided at command does not work on the BG95-S5.

I have shared the documentation and manual of BG95S5 with you. Please check it

Thank you Herbert. I have read over the BG95-S5 documents you provided. I do not see in these documents the ability to provide a location fix to the BG95-S5 module without relying on the internal GNSS. In the Quectel_BG95-S5_Network_Application_Note_V1.0 it states for the Non-Terrestrial Network that it needs to “Get UE Location Information” . It states “If the UE has been located and the location information is still valid, it will continue to the next step”. but I cannot find where I can provide the UE Location information?

Your demand should not be supported

I assume you mean this module will not support this feature. Very well. Thank you for your clarification.
