Is there maybe someone from Quectel that could help me?

Hi @GrandPep
Sorry for the late response !
Have you enabled XTRA freature by AT+QGPSXTRA=1 (reboot to take effect). ?

Here is an example for reference:

Pardon me, yes this was done before the commands above, so after AT+QGPSXTRA=1 and after the reboot. I retried this a few times too, setting AT+QGPSXTRA to 0 and 1 again with rebooting.

I’ve also tried all the following xtra_apn’s which all did not work, and also all possible files available:

http://iot1.xtracloud.net/xtra3ge_24h.bin
iot1.xtracloud.net/xtra3ge_24h.bin
iot1.xtracloud.net
http://18.239.50.28/xtra3ge_24h.bin
18.239.50.28/xtra3ge_24h.bin
18.239.50.28

We need modem log to check why download failed.

Is there a manual on how to do so, preferable for Windows?

Hi @GrandPep
Firstly, you need download this log tool:QWinLog_V1.8_EN | Quectel

Here is steps:

Settings → system setting , and do following:

After all settings are ok, then:

  1. START button to start collect log.
  2. AT+QCFG=“dbgctl”,0
  3. AT+CFUN=0
  4. AT+CFUN=1
  5. Wait network registered
  6. reproduce issue
  7. once reproduced issue and then STOP collect log
