BG95 AT+QCFG="sim/onchip" Clarification

Hello,

As the title suggests, I am looking for some clarification or background behind the AT+QCFG=“sim/onchip” command.

By default this is disabled, but when would be an instance that I would need to make use of this command and/or enable it?

Can anyone who has used this configuration command tell my how they applied it to their application?

if you will use onchip sim , you need to enable it first

for the detail ,pls kindly open the attachment

What is considered to be the “on-chip” SIM?

@Stephen.Li-Q I also need some help understanding “on-chip”. Is on-chip SIM the same as eSIM, i.e. SIM (MFF2) soldered on PCB? Does the “on-chip” enable / disable effect how BG95-M3 FW checks if SIM exists?

Hi @jsandstrom @lpfeiffer

This command use for some special case.
When enable this feature means you can connect [CMW500] network without SIM card.

You mean this is for testing purposes? CMW500, is that the “R&S®CMW500 wideband radio communication tester”?
