BG77: http post dns error

I’m using a BG77 in a custom device and I’m facing connectivity issues in Japan using the same connectivity algorithm as I’m using successfully in Europe.

Modem manages to successfully join the desired LTE-M network, verified with QNWINFO & CEREG, which answers 0,5

Then I’m entering HTTP URL successfully and activating context with QIACT but I’m always receiving a CME ERROR 714 when executing HTTP POST

I’ve followed the guideline of DNS Parse Failure present in the HTTP manual pdf and everything seems correct (server URL is correct, context is activated and DNS IP exists). In fact, a QPING can be executed successfully so I’m getting out of ideas. HTTP Post is triggered using http (without ssl) and port 80.

I saw in BG77 LTEM - HTTP DNS error (CME ERROR 714) after few hours - #4 by Fernando_Gomes that a FW update solved the issue but I’m unable to know the full FW version, I only know that I have BG77LAR02A04 but not the full version. How can I get it?

Any ideas on what else to investigate to understand why I have a DNS error?

Thanks a lot

Could you please take a photo of the module? Much appreication

Not at this moment. I’m controlling it remotely and the device can’t be opened right now

Here you have the photo of the module in another device. We can assume they are both from the same batch. Let me know if this is useful

Shared the latest firmware version to you, you can flash and try. Much appreciation
