BG600L-M3 power loss = damage?

Hello,

in the AT Commands Manual 2.0 of the BG600L-M3 I found the chapter ‘1.8 Turn off Procedure’.
Means this, without following this procedure and a sudden power-loss the module does not function properly any more ?

This is a recommended power-off method to avoid data loss. Other power-off methods are also acceptable, but may cause loss of your service data. However, the module can be used normally after being powered on again.
