I am getting an error when issuing a AT+QIACT=1 command.
Is there a firmware upgrade for this module?

My firmware is currently.

Hi,
You can use AT+QIACT, right? Check whether the scene is activated. If the scene is activated, an error occurs when you run AT+QIACT=1。

If you need the new firmware, you can send your email to me, and I will send it to you by email.

Thankyou,
my email is: richardmarmstrong@outlook.com

The new firmware has been sent to you by email, please note to check.

How can I tell if the scene is activated?

You can use "AT+QIACT? "Query the activation status. I sent you a guide.

When I try the command I get no activation status:

AT+QIACT?
OK

AT+QIACT=1
ERROR

AT+QICSGP=1
+QICSGP: 1,“telstra.internet”,“”,“”,1

Your steps are wrong, there is a correct setup process in the guidance document, you can look at it.

Your module is not registered to the network

yes, that’s my problem.

I thought the problem may be because the QIACT command didn’t work.

This is a network problem, not an AT+QIACT command problem, you need to check whether your network and sim work properly.

Can you execute the following command to see the return value

AT+COPS=?

AT+QNWINFO

AI+CPIN?

Here are the results:

OK

AT+COPS=? +COPS: (0,“Optus AU”,“Optus”,“50502”,9),(0,“Telstra Mobile”,“Telstra”,“50501”,9),(0,“vodafone AU”,“voda AU”,“50503”,9),(0,1,2,3,4),(0,1,2)

Execute the following commands to try whether you can register on the network. In addition, according to the operation instructions you show, your sim may not be recognized due to poor contact, please pay attention to check.

Still doesn’t connect. I’ve tried 3 SIM cards and I have the same result will all of them.

Have you checked with your carrier to see if your SIM card supports NB networks?
