AT+QSCAN returns an RSRP of -300 and higher for LTE if actual value is stronger than -52

When running AT+QSCAN=1,1

The RSRP results jump to -300 and lower if the actual RSRP is stronger than ~-52. This can be seen when the RSRP ramps up to ~-52 and ramps down below ~-52

FIrmware:
RM502QAEAAR13A04M4G_01.201.01.201

Is this expected behavior if the signal is strong? The documentation shows the range to be -140 to -44
