AT+QCFG="simeffect"

Hi,

could you please explain me the effect of disabling the RAT search order from (U)SIM
when setting AT+QCFG=“simeffect”,0 ?

Which SIM file does this relate to?
In EF_PLMNwAcT (0x6F60) or EF_OPLMNwAcT (0x6F61) the MNO sequence is defined including their available RATs.
This would be a network selection sequence and not RAT search order…

THerefore my question to which SIM file this command is related…

THanks,

Markus

Hi Markus,
When set AT+QCFG=“simeffect”,0, Ignore the relevant configuration in the SIM card file PLMNWACT when choosing the PLMN RATs. once disabled this function, the RATs search order will following the command AT+QCFG=“nwscanseq”.

Thank you Linkin-Q,

may I ask…if you say PLMNwACT - that does mean both lists EF_PLMNwAcT (0x6F60) and EF_OPLMNwAcT (0x6F61) are not taken into account?

Thanks,

markus

Hi,
AT+QCFG=“simeffect”,0 command is used to disable RATs searching order in SIMs files, including EF_PLMNwAcT (0x6F60) and EF_OPLMNwAcT (0x6F61).
