Dear Quectel Support Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I am currently in the process of integrating the EC20 Module with the RK3588 platform. However, I have encountered some challenges in locating the GNSS and RIL Drivers, specifically “gps.default.so” and “libreference-ril.so.”
Here are some additional details about my setup:
- Device: RK3588
- Android Version: 12
In my efforts to resolve this issue, I attempted to source the drivers from the internet, but encountered the following errors:
1- Error in gps_ql:
08-25 17:16:14.079 7930 7930 D gps_ql : dlopen /system/lib64/libcutils.so failed: dlopen failed: library "/system/lib64/libcutils.so" needed or dlopened by "/vendor/lib64/hw/gps.default.so" is not accessible for the namespace "(default)"
2- Error in RIL RILC:

3- Furthermore, even after adding the entry for android.hardware.gnss@1.0::IGnss/default in device/rockchip/rk3588/manifest.xml I get this error
hwservicemanager: getTransport: Cannot find entry android.hardware.gnss@1.0::IGnss/default in either framework or device VINTF manifest
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving these issues or guiding me on where to obtain the correct drivers for this configuration. Your expertise in this matter would be invaluable in getting this integration to work seamlessly.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Best regards,
