Is it acceptable to use antenna with VSWR greater than 2 for GSM/WCDMA/EVDO/CDMA/TD-SCDMA/LTE in EC20 R2.1 design? The datasheet recommends to use antenna with VSWR less than or equal to 2 for GSM/WCDMA/EVDO/CDMA/TD-SCDMA/LTE antenna but most of the antennas has VSWR greater than 2.5 at LTE band.

If you use external antenna, then you can choose the VSWR>2.0 or >2.5 at LTE band. But it will cause signal quality degradation. So it is suggested that VSWR as low as possible.
If you use the SMT antenna with higher VSWR, then maybe cause more loss in signal quality.
