5GM2EVB-KIT - Antenna confiuration

Hi,

We have purchased a 5GM2EVB-KIT units and plan to connect it directly to the radio unit using SMA cables and attenuators instead of antennas, due to licensing limitations.

The radio unit has 4 antenna ports, while the 5GM2EVB-KIT has 6 antenna ports. Is it possible to connect the radio unit to only 4 of the 5GM2EVB-KIT’s antenna ports? Will this configuration work, or could it pose any issues?

Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Important that all 4 connections are plugged on the modem (radio unit), not necessarily on the board…

If you want to connect on the board you have to use rf extensions provided in the kit but check the plug on the board what type it is.
