25-EUX stuck in FTM mode (CFUN:5) after firmware update failure, need QCN restore

Hello Quectel Support,

During a firmware update of my EC25-EUX module, there was an unexpected power failure which corrupted the module’s firmware. I had to recover it via EDL mode using QFirehose, but unfortunately the NV/QCN data (RF calibration) was lost in the process.

Now the module is stuck in Factory Test Mode and cannot connect to any network.

Current status:

  • AT+CFUN? returns +CFUN: 5
  • AT+CFUN=1 returns +CME ERROR: 3
  • AT+CSQ returns +CSQ: 99,99
  • AT+CREG? returns +CREG: 0,0
  • AT+CPIN? returns +CPIN: READY
  • RF NV items appear to be completely empty

Module details:

  • Model: EC25-EUX
  • Revision: EC25EUXGAR08A09M1G
  • Serial Number: MPY24FM2R006763
  • IMEI: 867395075101903 (restored via AT+EGMR after recovery)
  • Current firmware: EC25EUXGAR08A15M1G_20.200.20.200
  • Host device: Teltonika RUT956

I have tried:

  • AT+QNVFW="/nv/item_files/modem/mmode/cmph/ftm",00 - returns OK but CFUN stays at 5 after reboot
  • AT+QNVFW="/nv/item_files/conf/multisim_ftm_mode",00 - returns OK but no effect
  • AT+QPRTPARA=3 - returns ERROR
  • Multiple firmware versions flashed - same result

Could you please provide a QCN backup file or RF NV calibration data for this module (or a generic one for EC25-EUX) so I can restore it to normal operation?

Thank you in advance for your help.
