Understanding AT+QCSQ outputs in EG91AUX

Hello,

I have seen some topics here about the SNR unit in the command AT+QCSQ. In most of then, the answer is that the real SNR value is the output of the command divided by 5 and subtracted by 20, resulting in dB. However, in the datasheet of my modem, which is the EG91AUX, states that the unit for lte_sinr is already in dB.

In some cases, the value that is returned by the modem for the SNR is around 157, which does not make much sense to be already in dB. I want to be sure what is the correct formula to calculate the SNR in dB.

Hi there,
The unit of SINR is dB. The SINR value printed by the module is 157. It needs to be converted.

Hello,

Another question, which document contains this information? I searched for it in some documents for the EG91AUX but I was no able to find it.

Thank you for your answer!

Hi ,

You can find the document named Quectel_EC2x&EG9x&EM05_QuecCell_AT_Commands_Manual_V1.0
