I have a Quectel EM160R-GL module installed in an OEM laptop.

Current firmware shown by Windows MBIM:
EM160RGLAPR02A11M4G

OS:
Windows 11

Interface:
MBIM / Windows Mobile Broadband

The SIM card is detected correctly. Windows can read IMSI and ICCID, and the module can scan visible LTE/UMTS networks. However, network registration fails and Windows Mobile Broadband shows:

Registration state: Denied

Radio is ON, SIM state is ready, but the module does not register on available local operators.

Could you please provide:

  1. The latest official firmware for EM160R-GL APR branch.

  2. The latest MBN/carrier profile package for EM160R-GL.

  3. The recommended Windows flashing/update tool.

  4. Recommended AT commands or logs to collect for diagnosing registration denied.

  5. Confirmation whether EM160RGLAPR02A11M4G is a generic firmware branch or carrier-specific firmware.

I can provide IMEI, current firmware details, operator PLMN information, and logs privately if needed.
