Switch off NAS registration failed

We encountered an issue with the RM-520N-GL quectel where it successfully camps on our gNB and Core Network. However, within 10 to 15 seconds, it gets disconnected unexpectedly.

Upon analyzing the packet capture (PCAP), we observed that the RM-520N-GL quectel is sending following message

  • Deregistration Request from the gNB, indicating a “switch off” cause.

As a result, the RM-520N-GL quectel context is being released from both the gNB and our Core Network.
