setup the EC200A-EU module on my Debian OS?

Assuming your Linux kernel is not outdated, this modem should be supported by the standard drivers - option, cdc_ether.

With serial driver loaded switch the modem from RNDIS to ECM (AT+QCFG="usbnet"), then configure “dialing” with +QNETDEVCTL, you can find examples in the forum.
