I’m using the RM530N-GL module (details below) with a Waveshare USB dongle on Windows 10. The 5G modem functionality works perfectly, but I’m experiencing issues with the GNSS – I can’t seem to get a fix.
The configuration appears correct: I’ve tested the module in open-space environments and tried several different antennas (like Quectel YLY001CA or similar models from 2J), but without success. GPS is turned on and try to fix but the command AT+QGPSGNMEA="GSV" returns either OK or a list of visible satellites, without SNR values (when using XTRA).
I’ve tested antenna connections on connector 1 and 3.
Do you have any suggestions for resolving the GNSS?
Could you please share the latest hardware design guidelines/reference manual and AT command set for this module (or other related docs)?
