I’m using a RM520N-GL cell modem with 2 SIM slots. I want to do presence detection for both slots. It’s my understanding that the AT command QSIMSTAT is the command to check card insertion status, but the reference material doesn’t make clear the process for checking SIM1 and SIM2. My guess is that whichever SIM slot is selected with QUIMSLOT is the one whose card insertion status will be reported with QSIMSTAT. So to check both cards, you would need to first set the active slot with QUIMSLOT then check with QSIMSTAT, then select the other slot to check its card insertion status. Can anyone confirm whether this is correct? And if not, please advise the correct procedure to check SIM1 and SIM2 card insertion status.

Yes. It works as you guessed.
It support two SIM cards but the can not work simultaneously.
