RM520N-GL in IP passthrough mode, duplicate echo reply received with pfsense

Hi,

I have a in RM520N-GL in IP passthrough mode being used with pfsense. In pfsense, you set a monitor IP to ping. This is to check that the WAN is active and working. When i look at the logs in pfsense i see “duplicate echo reply received”. Is this characteristic of 5g modems? It doesn’t seem to affect access to the internet but i’d like to stop it from appearing in my logs. Also changing the ping ip doesn’t change the response.

Also note with the modem in IPPT mode (Modem is in ECM mode), i have a public address in pfsense as 92.XX.XXX.201 but on the modem via simpleadmin is see 92.XX.XXX.200. Might this be a clue?

Dear @Traction6596
RM520N doesn’t have duplicate urc.
For “duplicate echo reply received”, what is the echo? Please share the detailed information.

On pfsense router, there is an option to set the monitor IP for WAN. The WAN sends packets to the monitor IP to determine if there is internet connection. So lost packets means no internet. See picture below for picture.

I am trying to determine if the issue is with pfsense or with Quectel. What command should i run to help me find out what may be wrong?

Dear @Traction6596
It seems related with rotuer not module. Module didn’t send the information.
