Rm520n cannot detect sim in rj45 enclosure enclosure

i’m looking to set thus up with iamromulan in ippt, but i understand i need a connection to pull simple admin, and i can’t get the sim recognized, I have tired multiiple sims as well as another USB 3 enclosure, both reporting the sim is not installed, regarless of sim slot, any help is appreciated.

yes, i have used 2 other known good USB3 enclsoures, and the SIM works with other modems. I tested a sierra modem, i don’t have an extra quectel.

Do you use Qnavigator tool? If yes, please use other tool, like QCOM.
Qnavigator doesn’t support 5G.

I used regular AT commands for this. Putty or Howe terminal result in the same AT command responses in my experience
