RM510-GL poor 5g Performance on USB

After getting the drivers I needed installed. I noticed modules latency and speed are better on LTE vs 5g

I also noticed I am unable to load AT commands via com port.

Would I need to upgrade the firmware or change my settings to achieve better performance?
