Attaching some picture to the topic maybe some expert help boyfriend fix it.

Thanks in advance

Dear @Tufozz
Actually, we don’t know how to upgrade the firmware with Zyxel, you can contact with manufacture of Zyxel.
Or you can try to uninstall the module, install in other device and try to upgrade.

@silvia
thanks for the reply…
the problem is that is not a problem with zyxel… I installed openwrt, and the module is not working…
it’s a problem with quectel module… in particular restore the functionality …
what test can i perform thorught UART port?

Dear @Tufozz
Did you see any port in your system? like ttyUSB or others?

thanks @silvia
at the time i found those but i don’t know if they are real / not working or what…

any update?
thanks in advance

I can’t help until I see some useful information.
Since you have a Zyxel device, you will need to contact Zyxel for assistance.

since i’m here… i already contacted zyxel and they said it’s a matter of quectel component…
@jfrog thanks for the effort but you are not helping me.

@silvia please help me …

then tell them you bought a complete device from them and not a box full of components

Since you’re using OpenWrt to recover your modem and the modem is not even detected there, I suggest you to raise a question in OpenWrt forum.

Dear @Tufozz
Actually, if your device is Zyxel, it is better to contact with them.
We don’t know why the device didn’t recognize the module.

@silvia You are answering to a wrong person

Dear @jfrog
Thanks for your reminder.
