Hello,

I am using a SUNCOMM O8 Ultra router with the following modem firmware:

RM551EGL00AAR01A03M8G

I am experiencing severe thermal throttling and instability issues with this firmware version.

Symptoms:

  • Speed drops from around 800 Mbps – 1.2 Gbps down to 300–400 Mbps after temperature rises above 40–45°C

  • Carrier Aggregation becomes unstable

  • Performance degrades under heavy load

  • Sometimes CA drops from 4CA to lower aggregation

I saw multiple users mentioning that A04 firmware fixes many aggregation and stability issues compared to A03.

Could someone please provide:

  • RM551EGL00AAR01A04M8G firmware

  • Official download link

  • QFlash/QFirehose package if available

  • Upgrade instructions for RM551E-GL-R01
