I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek your assistance regarding an issue with my Quectel RM500Q-GL modem.
The modem was functioning perfectly, but it has suddenly stopped being detected by the host system. Despite this:
- There are no signs of hardware damage.
- The modem’s indicator light continues to blink, suggesting it is powered and operational.
- However, the modem’s COM ports are no longer visible on the host system.
I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps:
- Reconnected the modem to the host system.
- Tried different USB cables and ports.
- Verified power supply integrity.
- Restarted the host system and ensured all drivers were up-to-date.
Despite these efforts, the issue persists.
Could you please assist me in diagnosing and resolving this problem? If you require additional information, such as system logs, firmware version, or specific diagnostic steps I should perform, kindly let me know.
