Quectel RG255C-GL - Cannot Connect to 5G StandAlone

Module connects to LTE Just fine. But it’s not connecting to 5G SA
Mode preference is set to AUTO

I have tried with Optus Australia and Telstra Australia 5G Standalone SIMs
My area has coverage, 5G SA works fine with my iPhone with the same SIMs

Dear @ArtV
For 5G SA, it only can work with 20M bandwidth.
Which band is working on your area?

in iPhone field menu you can check if your device is really in 5G SA. If mixed mode is shown then it is not 5G SA.
According to MS Copilot RedCap device can be registered on band with higher bandwidth. Requirements:

  • sending tower must support 3GPP Releas 17
  • network operator must allow it

iPhone will work in any configuration. From what I saw here, towers announce release 15.4 and then separate 20 MHz band is required. But my modem gets registered. Unfortunately I didn’t found any AT command to check 3GPP release. Network scan also doesn’t show this. If anybody knows such commands - please send me.

Dear @busdriver
Sorry for this, we don’t have AT command to get this.
