Making VoLTE calls

Hi!

I bought a WisLink Cellular BG96 Arduino shield RAK2011 because I’m working on a project where I need to connect this device to the Network of my country (Orange) so I have two questions.

    • If I insert an Orange SIM Card into the BG96 arduino shield, is it possible to register this device into the Orange network?
    • Once registered the device into the network (if possible), Is it possible to make VoLTE calls this device? I’ve read the documentation of the device and that’s a question I have because I’m not sure that’s possible, that’s why I’m asking this to you.

Please, be aware that I’m just a computer engineer without any previous experience into telecommunications and stuff like that.

  1. I prefer to recommend the BG95 Series module, it seems that the BG96 is not support Orange but you can have a try.
  2. BG96 module support VoLTE.

Can you suggest me an arduino hat or a hat for beaglebone or raspberry which uses the BG95?
