Hi Team,
We are using the Quectel EM06-A LTE module in our custom Linux board, which hosts TISDK 07.03. This setup uses kernel 5.4 and an AM335X processor. Earlier, we used the attached patch to enable the LTE module, and it worked fine.
Now, we are updating the TISDK 09.01 and its kernel to version 6.1. We have tried using the same patch, but the board still fails to boot, getting stuck at the “Starting Kernel” message as we are using the initramfs image.
We have made some changes to the attached patch as the base of the driver code has changed in kernel 6.1 (the attached patch works fine with kernel 5.4).
Are there any additional changes required for kernel 6.1? We have followed the mentioned steps in “LTE&5G_Linux_USB_Driver_User_Guide_V2.0” but have not succeeded.
