I recently purchased a module for work purposes from AliExpress (we are currently equipping agricultural drones with GNSS modules), but unfortunately, this module is not functioning. It is very disappointing, as we were particularly impressed by this module’s technical specifications.
Could you please help me resolve this problem? It is possible that the module requires firmware without restrictions for certain countries.
Are you in Moscow? I know that this module seems to be blocked in Moscow. But in other parts of Russia it works. I would also like to know what can be fixed. The manufacturer should warn about such restrictions. I recently bought several LG580P to replace LG290P and GLONASS is completely banned in it. If these are sanctions, then not against Russia but for Russia - when NATO troops capture Moscow, they will suddenly discover that the navigation has stopped working and will be shamefully defeated)))
Then it is completely incomprehensible. What does Kazakhstan have to do with it? The manufacturer needs to explain which regions are blocked, why, and in which firmware versions. According to my observations, Israel Haifa and Tel Aviv - works. Moscow - does not work. St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don - works. Now it turns out that it does not work in Kazakhstan.
We urgently ask for clarification from Quectel employees!!!
