Hello. When trying to update the firmware of my LG290P chip on a Mozihao board, I got the following error:
[00:07:35.501] Exceeding the maximum number of retry attempts! [00:07:35.505] Send firmware failed, error: 0x108 [00:07:35.507] qgnss_flash upgrade failed, return: [-1]
I haven’t found a similar case on the forum, nor any explanation in the firmware update guide ![]()
I think I’ve bricked the chip because I had set the baud rate to 115200 during a previous setup, and I completely forgot to reset the settings to default…
so now it’s impossible to revert. The connection to the chip seems to have failed. The red light is off, and the QGNSS is stuck on $PQTMVERNO*58
with no response from the module.
Another possible problem is that I’m using Ubuntu, I launched QGNSS with Wine, and the USB connection might have failed.
I’m afraid I’ve damaged my module
, but maybe someone here will have a solution.
