It is possible to query the tx-rx-info via the QMI interface on the 5G modems

Hello.

With the 4G modems, it is possible to query the signal quality in both the main and the diversity antenna via the QMI interface using a host command such as:

“qmicli -d /dev/cdc-wdm0 --nas-get-tx-rx-info=lte”

The 5G modems that I have tested just return an error message “not supported”

Is there an AT command that does the same? It would be great to be able to test each of the antenna paths on the 5G modems, just as in the 4G modems.

Dear @jorgen.pihlflyckt
Which module do you use?

I use the RM520N-GL in a special setup with only two antennas connected to Ant0 and Ant2 as recommended minimum requirement by Quectels representative. Using only two antennas will prevent some of the more advanced features, but will still allow us to use the available bands in both 5G and 4G.

My question is: Is it possible to test the coverage on the individual antennas by enabling and disabling the antennas in software. It would be much easier than having to disconnect the antennas physically.

Dear @jorgen.pihlflyckt
You can try this. I have sent to the AT command document to you via Message, please check.
But we don’t have AT command to enable and disable antennas.
