Inquiry about GPS Operation in Sleep Mode on EG800K

I am currently using the EG800K module for our company’s positioning solution.
I would like to ask the following questions:

  1. Is there a way to keep the GPS running while the EG800K module is in sleep mode?
  2. How does the GPS operate when the EG800K module is in sleep mode?

If the GPS is in operation, the internal MCU of the EG800K cannot enter the sleep mode. If you expect it to enter a low-power state, you need to stop or interrupt the operation of the GPS.

Could you please clarify:
When the EG800K is in sleep mode, can the GPS enter backup mode?
Will information such as RTC, location, and EPH data be retained?
Can the GPS perform a hot start in this case?

No, I think it’s a warm start. The Ephemeris data file should be valid for a certain period of time.

If it does, could you please provide details about the corresponding pin, electrical characteristics, and how to enable or configure it?

It is supported. You need to configure the corresponding GNSS statement output port.

Could you please confirm the exact physical pin number on the EG800K module where the 1PPS signal is output, and whether it is available on all variants (EG800K-CN, EG800K-EU, EG800K-LA) or only specific ones?
