I’m sorry, I’m at a loss for using this QGNSS app. I try to enter a command for checking firmware version in the “data input” line at the bottom of the console and nothing happens.
all I get is a fast stream of data.
How do you use this app? what am I doing wrong?
Hi steve1428,
Data input is the correct place to input commands. You should see the response under the message statistics tab in the same window.

i’m sorry, I can’t tell if i’ve entered the command. The messages scroll by so fast i can’t read anything. when I look in message stats it’s showing many many messages, how do we tell.
for example i am trying to verify if it’s in base mode with the command
AT+QGPSCFG=“rtcmoutput”
I can’t see any response, I don’t know if it even identified the command
i’ve tried commands to stop gnss messages too, nothing seems to happen. I am getting sat fix no problem, also use NTRIP client.
why is this so hard? I would think that determining base station position was a common exercise yet there is no help on how to actually do it.
Hi steve1428,
I think the reason you did not see the command and response under message statistics is that the command you input was not valid. Please refer to this document for the commands. I am sorry that QGNSS is indeed a tool that needs some learning curve. We are planning to do some demos to better introduce how to use this tool.
