Help Needed: EG25GGB for 24/7 Video Streaming on Raspberry Pi CM4 – Compatibility & Alternatives

I’m working on a custom project using a Raspberry Pi CM4 and the EG25GGB module (similar to an LTE gateway). The board includes a miniPCIe slot, which seems to be compatible with the pinout shared here on the forum. However, I still have a few questions:

  1. Is the EG25GGB capable of supporting a continuous 24/7 1080p H.265 video stream with a video bitrate of 8Mbps?
  2. Is this module compliant with Brazilian standards?
  3. If the EG25GGB isn’t suitable for this application, could you recommend an alternative? We need a module with an mPCIe connector and a built-in SIM card slot.

  1. The EG25G only support cat4. As I think it does not such such 24/7 1080p H.265 video streaming. It is better to try the LTE-A or 5G module.
  2. Yes it support the Brazilian network.
  3. Some LTE-A that support the miniPCIe I think you’d better to contact with the sales.
