Firmware upgrade LC29H-DA

Hello everyone, I’m new on the forum.

I’ve just bought a LC29H(DA) gnss module, I’ve connected to QGNSS and ir receive the signals from various satellite, but when i try to activate an ntrip for the correction doesn’t work.
the precision stay aroud some meter, never get fix mode.

In QGNSS the serial number or the firmware never shows, neither with the command line at startup connection.

Plus, when I try to connect to ntrip service I get this line with some not clear code like in the image.

Maybe the non upgraded firmware cause all this?!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Doom_Am,

The “garbage message” you see from Uart Tx is ntrip correction data given by QGNSS tool. It’s normal to see these message after you connect to ntrip server.

The reason why you didn’t have RTK fix might be:
(1) The module didn’t work in a good signal environment.
It had a bad accuracy in SPS mode. If module works in weak signal area, the positioning error may exceed 1meter and RTK correction data can’t help it get more preciser to centi-meter or sub-meter level.

(2) The correction data is not suitable for module getting RTK fix. You can click ①Update NTRIP Source Table; ②Mount Point Details to view details.
Generally, more RTCM type can be provided by NTRIP, the more reliable for RTK fix.

I will send you the latest LC29HDA firmware through email.

Best regards.

Thank you for answering me and sending the firmware!
With the help of another user I’ve reached the fix mode, like you said the format of the ntrip mountpoint was the principal issue.

Thank you again!
