Hi. We’re migrating a fleet of vehicles with telematics that use Quectel modules from one system to a different one. The communication is performed with HTTPS using mTLS. We’ve noticed a 50% increase in data consumption, but the HTTP payload itself has not changed. This points out to an overhead in the SSL negotiation, possibly caused to the new backend’s SSL configuration, but we need to understand our fleet SSL capabilities in order to perform part of the debug and to provide proof to our security team that the SSL configuration required changing. In particular, we need accurate information regarding the +QSSLCFG: “session_cache” support in the different firmware versions, but also any other SSL-related information will be extremely helpful. For that reason, we would like to get the release notes for the following firmwares (all dates):
