Firmware r01 vs r03 on RM520N-GL

Hello guys,
i’m using a m.2 RM520N-glAA with firmware RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G.
I saw r03 is newer than one i’m using RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G_01.206.01.206

What could happen if i switch to R03 RM520NGLAAR03A04M4G_A0.301.A0.301.
Is it possible?
should i follow special rules?

R1 and R3 usually represent the baseline versions of the software. It is not recommended to upgrade across these baselines. RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G_01.206.01.206 is the latest firmware version. If it meets your requirements, it is not advisable to perform any upgrades.
