The RM520N-GL-AP module is running the firmware version RM520NGLAPR01A03M4G, which, according to Quectel’s official forum, cannot be upgraded to other versions because the AP variant differs from the AA variant and is identified as non-upgradable during the upgrade process.

My ES update successful to A03 to A08, then I had the fantastic idea to test AT+QPCIE="usb",1 and it doesn’t come up again over PCIe

Any idea @silvia on how to recover it?

Hi silvia,

i’ve sent back that module, now I’ve got new one, it was updated to RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G, but now I’ve a big issue. The module is configured in MBIM, but how to change to QMI with PCIe?

Please change usbnet via AT+QCFG=“usbnet”,0 , then install QMI driver.
