Dear @stich86
For RM520NGLAPR01A03M4G, it can’t upgrade to other version.
Hi Silvia,
Why? There is no firmware? I’ve seen other 520 AP with newer firmware.
Thanks
Dear @stich86
RM520NGLAPR01A03M4G is too old.
Other AP module can use AA version, but it should be ship with AA version, not AP.
Can be upgrade thru EDL? I think it can be upgraded.. can you send me latest 520N firmware? I’ll try on my own to upgrade ![]()
Dear @stich86
It can’t upgrade, it will check project name when upgrade. AP is different with AA.
But if I try to upgrade via edl changing project name? This modules is an ES..
There is a newer R01 version? Because I see only R03 at the moment searching in the forum
Thanks!
Dear @stich86
I am not sure if it can upgrade or not.
It is ES, it has risk to upgrade, if accept the risk, I can sent R01 firmware for try.
Please send me latest R01 and qrfirehose that support pcie mode (as this module doesn’t have usb)
Thanks ![]()
Silvia, can you send me R01 fw and flash tool for pcie too?
Thanks in advance!
Dear @elukyan
Do you have the same behavior?
Dear @stich86
I have sent to your email, please check.
Please note it has risk to upgrade.
Yes, I have ES GLAP module with RM520NGLAPR01A03M4G fw. And it doesn’t work correctly after attempt to change “pcie/mode”. I want to try to resore original FW.
thanks, got it
a question:
I’ve check with this comand the PCIE status:
AT+QPCIE="fuse"
+QPCIE: "fuse","disabled"
Does it means that it can run also in USB mode?
thanks!
Dear @elukyan
Flash firmware can’t change configuration of “pcie/mode”.
Dear @stich86
You can use the AT command to check your interface.
But if the efuse is “disabled” does it means that I can switch back to usb?
Because I’ve seen another GLAP module that has the efuse status to enabled
Thanks
Dear @stich86
For MP, it should be efuse enabled.
What do you mean for MP? Multi protocol?
I’m just asking if that output can influence the ability to enable USB mode ![]()
Thanks!
Dear @stich86
You can try to use AT+QCFG= “data_interface”,0,0 to try and see if it switch USB or not.
